Interest Groups

A variety of interest groups offer women in our community unique opportunities for friendship, sharing and learning. And if you have a group you would like to start, we welcome that!

All Interest Groups welcome new members anytime throughout the year. The only requirement for joining an interest group is paid membership in
The University Women’s Club of Toronto. To join a group, simply contact the group leader.

MOVIE GROUP

A group of our members goes to see a current film at the Varsity Cinema on the second or third Saturday of the month. The date is chosen so as not to conflict with other activities. The group attends the first showing of the film on the Saturday. The film itself is chosen on the Friday prior to the outing and members who have expressed an interested are contacted. The group adjourns for tea nearby to discuss the movie and its themes. Contact to Dawn Whitmore 416-922-6659
