Book Groups

The Morning Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10:30 at the Faculty Club.
The title of the book to be discussed will be available in the monthly newsletter as well as at the group’s meetings.

Fundraising

Enthusiastic members organize activities and events to raise money for worthwhile charities such as Romero House (https://romerohouse.org), Sistering (http://sistering.org) and Indspire. (https://indspire.ca/about-indspire/). Members are encouraged to volunteer their time with these organizations.


Movie Group

A group of our members goes to see a current film at the Varsity Cinema on the second or third Saturday of the month. The date is chosen so as not to conflict with other activities. The group attends the first showing of the film on the Saturday. The film itself is chosen on the Friday prior to the outing and members who have expressed an interested are contacted. The group adjourns for tea nearby to discuss the movie and its themes. Contact to Dawn Whitmore 416-922-6659


Social Bridge

Every Tuesday afternoon members enjoy social bridge in the relaxed atmosphere of the Faculty Club pub.
